Hydraulic Diaphragm Metering Pumps

In a hydraulic diaphragm metering pump a plunger moves hydraulic oil, and the oil moves the diaphragm. Pressure on both sides of the diaphragm is balanced, so the pump can run continuously at higher pressures while keeping the leak-free nature of a diaphragm design.

They are common in petrochemical, power and fine-chemical plants where pressure, metering accuracy and safety matter, and some series are designed to API 675. Typical options include single or double diaphragms with rupture alarm, internal relief and refill valves, and manual or automatic stroke control.
