What makes a digital dosing pump different
Digital dosing pumps use a stepper motor or variable-speed drive with electronics that control each suction and discharge stroke. They hold a stable output over a wide adjustment range and usually have a display, menu keys and several control modes.
Compared with conventional solenoid pumps they dose more smoothly at low flows and can be set directly in mL/h or L/h. Typical features include pulse and 4–20 mA inputs, batch and timer dosing, low-level alarms, flow monitoring and Modbus or other fieldbus interfaces, which suits disinfection, pH control, industrial water treatment and precise chemical feed.
